Thank you for your interest in The Royle at Darien, located on Post Road in Darien. The Royle is an independent living facility for adults 55 years of age or older. Currently, we are ONLY accepting applications for our 1- and 2-bedroom units under the 60% income tier. Below is a 2025 chart of the minimum and maximum income limits based on household size for the 60% tier. Please note that all other waiting list tiers are currently closed. Rents do not include utilities. We are a smoke-free residential property.
If selected, you will be interviewed and required to submit a formal application (which includes a $35 fee). You will also need to agree to a criminal background check, a credit check, and a prior landlord verification.
NOTE: The preliminary application can be mailed, brought directly to the Management office, or completed directly online. Mailed applications can be sent to Mirna Acosta, Acting Property Manager, c/o Darien Housing Authority, 719 Post Rd, Darien CT 06820.
